About the Department
The Department of Business Studies is committed to nurturing future business leaders by providing a strong foundation in business strategy, leadership and organizational management. Our primary objective is to equip students with essential management principles, practical skills, and industry-relevant knowledge to excel in both corporate and entrepreneurial ventures so that they can get good Placements.
The department features well-equipped classrooms and modern learning resources, ensuring hands-on experience in key areas such as finance, marketing, human resource management, operations and strategic planning. Additionally, an independent Venture Lab has been established to offer practical exposure in the stock market, while a Soft Skills Workshop focuses on enhancing students’ communication, leadership and professional development skills. To further bridge the gap between academics and industry, we have Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading corporate organizations, providing students with valuable practical experience through internships, industry training and live projects. This collaboration ensures that our students gain hands-on exposure to real-world business challenges, making them industry-ready professionals for Placements.
