Cement Plant

Cement is typically made from limestone and clay or shale. These raw materials are extracted from the quarry crushed to a very fine powder and then blended in the correct proportions. This blended raw material is called the 'raw feed' or 'kiln feed' and is heated in a rotary kiln where it reaches a temperature of about 1400 C to 1500 C. In its simplest form, the rotary kiln is a tube up to 200 metres long and perhaps 6 metres in diameter, with a long flame at one end. The raw feed enters the kiln at the cool end and gradually passes down to the hot end, then falls out of the kiln and cools down. After cooling, the clinker may be stored temporarily in a clinker store, or it may pass directly to the cement mill.

Pile Load Test

This project represents the Pile load test. Compression and lateral pile capacities can be evaluated with the Static and dynamic test method. The test method consists of accelerating reaction masses in the direction opposite to the test load direction by igniting propellant fuel. A load cell measures the load and the deformation of is measured using surveying equipment. For safety reasons, reaction masses are enclosed within a metal casing filled with gravel or other materials used to dampen the return fall of the reaction masses.

Drip irrigation is a form of irrigation that saves water and fertilizer by allowing water to drip slowly to the roots of many different plants, either onto the soil surface or directly onto the root zone, through a network of valves, pipes, tubing, and emitters. It is done through narrow tubes that deliver water directly to the base of the plant.

Skytree Tower

Tokyo Skytree is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower in sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 634.0 metres (2,080 ft) in March 2011. The tower is the primary television and radio broadcast site for the Kanto region the older Tokyo Tower no longer gives complete digital terrestrial television broadcasting coverage because it is surrounded by high-rise buildings. Skytree was completed on 29 February 2012. The tower is the centre piece of a large commercial development funded by Tobu Railway and a group of six terrestrial.

Suspension Bridge

A suspension bridge is a type of bridge in which the deck (the load-bearing portion) is hung below suspension cables on vertical suspenders. The suspension cables must be anchored at each end of the bridge, since any load applied to the bridge is transformed into a tension in these main cables. The main cables continue beyond the pillars to deck-level supports, and further continue to connections with anchors in the ground. The roadway is supported by vertical suspender cables or rods, called hangers. In some circumstances, the towers may sit on a bluff or canyon edge where the road may proceed directly to the main span, otherwise the bridge will usually have two smaller spans, running between either pair of pillars or the highway, which may be supported by suspender cables or may use a truss bridge to make this connection. In the latter case there will be very little arc in the outboard main cables.

Moveable Bridge

A moveable bridge or movable bridge (common alternative spelling in American English), is a bridge that moves to allow passage (usually) for boats or barges.[1] In American English, moveable bridge and drawbridge are synonymous, and the latter is the common term, but drawbridge can be limited to the narrower, historical definition used in some other forms of English, in which drawbridge refers only to a specific type of moveable bridge. An advantage of making bridges moveable is the lower cost, due to the absence of high piers and long approaches. The principal disadvantage is that the traffic on the bridge must be halted when it is opened for passages.

Description :
This software, Monthly Budget planner helps to discover how much cash user have coming in and what he is spending it on. The Personal Monthly Budget Planner spreadsheet helps in allocating the budget for the month for various expenses at the start and monitoring the difference against actual expense at the end of the month. User can easily allocate budget for a category of the expense and record the actual cost incurred for that category during the month. The personal monthly budget sheet stores the income details like wages, interest/dividends, refunds/reimbursements and transfer from savings etc. for the current month. This spreadsheet records a range of categories and heads of expense to cover all sorts of payments or expenses that user might incur. User can manage various different kinds of expenses incurred related to home, daily living, transportation, etc.

Floor Crane


What is a Floor Crane?
A crane is a type of machine, generally equipped with a hoist rope, wire ropes or chains, and sheaves, that can be used both to lift and lower materials and to move them horizontally. Floor Crane is mainly used for lifting heavy things and transporting them to other places. Cranes are commonly employed in the transport industry for the loading and unloading of freight, in the construction industry for the movement of materials and in the manufacturing industry for the assembling of heavy equipment.

Grain Elevator


What is a Grain Elevator?
In the grain trade, a grain elevator is a tower containing a bucket elevator which scoops up grain from a lower level and deposits it in a silo or other storage facility. In most cases, the term "grain elevator" also covers the entire elevator complex including receiving and testing offices, weighbridges, storage facilities etc. It may also mean organizations that operate or control several individual elevators, in different locations.

Grain Elevator is utilized in grain market or Peddy elevation in the warehouses where the peddy is stored.

Air Engine


What is a Air Engine?
A pneumatic motor (Air motor) or compressed air engine is a type of motor which does mechanical work by expanding compressed air. Pneumatic motors generally convert the compressed air energy to mechanical work through either linear or rotary motion. Linear motion can come from either a diaphragm or piston actuator, while rotary motion is supplied by either a vane type air motor, piston air motor, air turbine or gear type motor.

Steam Engine


What is a Steam Engine?
A steam engine is a heat engine that performs mechanical work using steam as its working fluid. Steam engines are external combustion engines, where the working fluid is separate from the combustion products. Non-combustion heat sources such as solar power, nuclear power or geothermal energy may be used. In general usage, the term steam engine can refer to either the integrated steam plants such as railway steam locomotives and portable engines, or may refer to the piston or turbine machinery alone, as in the beam engine and stationary steam engine. Specialized devices such as steam hammers and steam pile drivers are dependent on the steam pressure supplied from a separate boiler.

Water Level Indicator


What is a Water Level Indicator?
Simple transistor based water level indicator circuit is very useful to indicate the water levels in a tank. Whenever tank gets filled, we get alerts on particular levels. Here we have created 4 levels (low, medium, high and full), we can create alarms for more levels. We have added 3 LEDs to indicate initial three levels (A, B, C), and one Buzzer to indicate FULL level (D). When tanks gets filled completely we get beep sound from Buzzer.

Futuristic Scope of Water Level Indicator
Water tank overflow is a common problem which leads to the wastage of water. So, Water level indicator can be used in water tanks used at our homes to reduce water and electricity wastage.

Fire Alarm
What is a Fire Alarm?
This fire detection alarm circuit is based on thermistor. What is a thermistor? A thermistor is nothing but a variable resistor whose resistance changes with temperature. Fire detection is simply possible via this low-cost alarm circuit. A simple potential divider arrangement using thermistor is capable of sensing the temperature (presence of fire) and alerting us with a warning signal.

1. This is suitable for your home security systems.
2. In Industries/high buildings, fire alarm is used.

What is a Magnetron?
A magnetron is a diode, usually cylindrical, with a magnetic field parallel to its axis. In modern usage, however, the word implies a diode that, with the aid of a magnetic field, produces short electromagnetic waves. Whenever a CFL comes in its EM Field, it starts to glow.

Bidirectional Visitor Counter


What is a Bidirectional Visitor Counter?
The circuit works on the principle of IR sensing. Two sets of IR sensors consisting of an IR LED and photo transistor are placed at two ends. Output from each sensor is fed to the microcontroller. In normal operation, IR light from the LED would fall on the photo transistor and the latter would conduct. The output from the sensor would be a logic low signal in this case. In case of any interruption (due to any person crossing the path), the photo transistor would cease to conduct or conduct less and the output from the sensor would be a logic high signal. The transition from low to high, for each sensor pair is detected by the microcontroller and accordingly the count would be increased or decreased.

Futuristic Scope of Bidirectional Visitor Counter
1. It can be used to count the number of persons entering a hall in the up mode at entrance gate.
2. It can also be used at gates of parking areas and other public places.

Led Based Automatic Emergency Light


What is a Led Based Automatic Emergency Light?
This automatic emergency led light used in night time when the power is cutoff by some reason. This emergency light takes 230V AC and it converts it in 12V DC and charge the battery which is used in this circuit. The power from the battery is used that time when the power is cut off or we need to use it.In this circuit we use PNP transistor. The advantage of this emergency light is that if we use this light in a room with LED light source for high energy conversion efficiency. Re- chargeable batteries are NiCd or NIMh or LI-Ion type for getting high usable life.

Futuristic Scope of Led Based Automatic Emergency Light
This project can be used where uninterrupted light is required. We can use relays to power up high wattage bulbs or CFLs.

Stirling Engine


What is a Stirling Engine?
Originally conceived in 1816 as an industrial prime mover to rival the steam engine, its practical use was largely confined to low-power domestic applications for over a century.

The Stirling engine is noted for high efficiency compared to steam engines, quiet operation, and its ability to use almost any heat source. The heat energy source is generated external to the Stirling engine rather than by internal combustion as with the Otto cycle or Diesel cycle engines. Because the Stirling engine is compatible with alternative and renewable energy sources it could become increasingly significant as the price of conventional fuels rises, and also in light of concerns such as peak oil and climate change. This engine is currently exciting interest as the core component of micro combined heat and power (CHP) units, in which it is more efficient and safer than a comparable steam engine. However, it has a low power-to-weight ratio rendering it more suitable for use in static installations where space and weight are not at a premium.
